The City of Columbia Parking Services Department provides citizens, businesses and visitors with parking programs for on-street, garage and lot parking; enforcement of parking regulations; assistance with neighborhood parking problems; and works with the City's economic development offices to assist in providing parking for businesses.
The department has a  Customer Service Office in the Lincoln Street Garage located at 820 Washington Street, directly across from Police Headquarters and Municipal Court. Hours of operation are from 8:30 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. For questions about parking, please call (803) 545-4015 or e-mail ParkingServices@columbiasc.gov.

ATTENTION ALL MONTHLY PARKERS (both gated & ungated parking facilities & lots)

As The City of Columbia and Parking Services progress forward with new parking innovation to include gate equipment and software, please be advised the new parking system will no longer accept your current access cards. Outlined below are the steps and timeline of which to ensure a smooth transition for all our valued monthly parkers. *Note – monthly parkers whom currently park in “ungated” facilities and lots such as; PJ Cannon, Taylor Street, Washington Street, Arsenal Hill, as well as Sumter, Blanding, and Devine Street Surface Lots will also be included.

JANUARY 7th-15th: New Parking Agreements must be completed and submitted to Parking Services by January 15th.  Copies of your Driver’s License and Vehicle Registration also required. 

JANUARY 18th-31st: Link to complete your new on-line account via MiParc will be available January 18th. All monthly parkers will need to register for parking via MiParc. Check back for the MiParc Link late January! 

FEBRUARY 1st: The following are due by Fri, Feb. 1st:

1)  Any outstanding parking balances; citations and monthly parking accounts must be paid current

2)  Updated Parking Agreement

3)  Driver’s license/registration

4)  New miParc Account online set-up

FEBRUARY 4th-8th: Distribution of new access cards/permits.   * upon completion of the items mentioned above.

FEBRUARY 11th: Newly installed gate equipment & software will go-live and become operational! Staff will be on-site to assist & answer questions.

MARCH 1st: First monthly invoice to be sent via email with our iParc Parking Software system.

Completed forms must be submitted to ParkingServices@columbiasc.gov, along with copies of a drivers license and vehicle registration. Please be sure to include the facility name and last name in the email subject line.

Physical copies can also be returned to the Parking Services Office located at 820 Washington Street.
